Hello. I have had a TP-link WR740N router for 3 years. There were no problems with it, but for some time the WiFi on the laptop in the other room was weak. Movies from YT started to buffer and stutter more and more often. I would like to buy a router with better WiFi and relatively cheap. I do not know if I will find something reasonable up to PLN 150, but I also do not want to give a lot for it. Which model should you pay special attention to? Please give me some advice.

The internet speed is 50mbit / s. It is delivered to the apartment via a cable that I plug directly into the router.

    Cheap router with good wifi

    This is a contradiction

They are expensive with poor WIFI and expensive with good WIFI but no cheap with good WIFI.

Can you pull the cable there and put up an additional WIFI point?

    WR1043 are OK.

Place a laptop in the place of poor reception, install / run inssider 2.x, perform a scan, show the results.

So exactly what channel do you mean? Should I enter the router settings?

Mouse over, attach both halves of the poppy seed to think,
e.g. google - how to change the WIFI channel in the router.

If you have 2 computers, test the WIFI performance of the router, install iperf3.exe on both computers
comp1: connect by cable to the router, turn off the firewall, in the cmd.exe window, run
    iperf3.exe -s

comp1: connect via WIFI to the router
    iperf3.exe -c ip-computer-address-1

How many walls between the router and the laptop?

You could try a 5ghz router (dual 2/5 ghz), it can definitely improve the speed, as long as there is no crowding on the 5ghz band. Mobile devices should support 5ghz. But it's not going to be cheap.

Your card probably does not support 5ghz (and it supports WIFI card model), because the inssider shows NOTHING on 5ghz channels.

I don't have access to my laptop yet. And the network card is probably integrated. I wanted to buy a better router than I have now, but again it is not known for how high the price is.
What do you think about this router of my current one? Has poor WIFI and overall not very good?

If I bought the router you proposed to me, the WR1043, WIFI would definitely be better?

Buy it, you will see - there is no glass ball here.
