    Hello.
I have a problem with my Peugeot 407 20 HDI. The problem is manifested by stalling the engine at idle speed for example waiting for the lights. Sometimes the speed is corrugated, i.e. as if the engine tried to prevent it from going out. However, this does not happen every now and then, I would say differently and not always. For example, one day will go out a few times, then 2-3 days of peace. I had two sensors listed ... the sensor of the flow rate and one more by the engine whose name I do not remember, That the sensors did not help, I recently added the refiner to the deal. The problem did not appear for about a month. In one forum they prompted me to replace the shaft position sensor. Could this be the sensor? look for a problem in it? Do you look around and look for a problem somewhere else
Thank you in advance for your help and answer.
    Regards.

Replace the fuel filter even if it is two months old.
Later diagnostics. Any errors are saving?

The fuel filter is changed twice. No errors are shown on the computer. A friend's mechanic took the car to work on a new computer and did not show a single error there.
One time, when the car went out, a Check Engine error occurred then the mechanic said that the fuel pressure sensor showed. However, even after replacing the sensor, nothing changed. I went for two days without any problem and then on the third day the car went out again.

It is not a mechanic who can interpret the fault code correctly. Wavelength of rotation indicates the loss of ignition and extinguishing due to too low fuel pressure to protect the injectors. Drive up the computer and check the parameters of the pressure pump pumps to the pressure tank, do the injection overflow test at low speed time is not important, the principle is that to fill the first graduated cylinder and finish. You compare the results (take pics and post in the forum). Did you notice the filings at the bottom of the can of the fuel filter?
