I have a problem that I have to cut / replace the silicone around the shower tray every year because it turns black.
What can you use instead of sanitary / neutral silicone to avoid this torment?
maybe a sealant: rubber / polymer / butylene / polyurethane?
one must be better than nothing worth silicone.

I know that the problem is probably due to weakening of ventilation etc. But it is impossible to change everything.
I wonder the following: Why mold does not appear:
    1. On plates
    2. On the windows
    3. On the plastic elements of the cabin
    4. On metal parts of the cabin
    5. On the paddling pool
    6. Rarely on joints
And it appears throughout the bathroom only on silicone which is described that contains fungicides / molds.

Mold appears on the silicone around the shower tray because it crawls out from under the shower tray and this is its shortest way to colonize the entire shower enclosure. If you had a truce with her for about two years, you'd find out where she could get at that time. Of course you would have to moisturize it.
Arrange this mold with doom. Lift the shower tray, mechanically scrub it from underneath and all the space under it, dry it with hot air and then spray with fungicide and molds, e.g. Anti-fungus 2. After a day, scrub the moldy surfaces, wash and dry, and repeat spraying before leaving the shower tray in its place . Seal the shower tray with silicone.
Use any 'drying' of this shower cubicle, e.g. leaving it open, the bathroom door open.
Repair the bathroom ventilation. The archiekt has not forgotten about bathroom ventilation, just find and unclog it.

The mushroom will not crawl out from under the shower tray. It is only on top of the silicone from above under the shower tray is dry a year ago I cut it off and clung to the wall again was clean. There is no direct ventilation in the bathroom, it is ventilated through the grill leading to the toilet and only outside. I always leave the cabin open and the door will not close after leaving the bathroom. Would any of these sealants be more resistant to mold / fungus? This is an adequate cause of silicone - crap. Even the joints are clean and have no signs of mold / fungus except white limestone coating.
I have already used soudal silocone, titanium UPG 5 years, atlas, lakma. Everyone gets dots and turns black. It's been seven years since renovation and only silicone fails. the rest is clean and without any signs.

This is the charm of silicone. It has some beneficial feature for mold growth on the surface, that's why fungicidal additives are added, which usually don't work anyway. My advice is to clean more often with hypochlorite (it is in domestos) - it burns out any living micro-creature, and whitens black organic residues. You can use some chlorinated fungi, but like a metal shower tray and enamel chips, it is better to be careful not to eat metal.

Try to use ordinary colorless or transparent silicone, I do not find mold on it.

    Did you use Mapei silicone?
I use it at work and I don't complain, customers too.

The fungus does not come from nowhere, residual water on the silicone, the edge of the cabin, or the leakage of the connection of tiles with the edge of the shower tray. If the fungus gets under the silicone below the place you have access to when cutting out, then you must remove it completely before putting a new one.

The silicone itself should be laid on the smallest possible surface, with a significant slope, in the sense the gap for sealing should be max. 5 mm.

Chris_W's colleague is right, domestos is doing miracles :)

I used a colorless silicone resistant to molds and fungi. It lasts much longer than white, but it is not crazy.
I did not find a solution to eliminate the problem completely.

Topic summary

The discussion centers on the recurring issue of mold growth on silicone sealants around shower trays, prompting the search for alternative sealants that may be more resistant to mold. Users share experiences with various silicone brands, noting that even those labeled as mold-resistant often fail, leading to black mold formation. Suggestions include using colorless or transparent silicone, Mapei silicone, and regular cleaning with hypochlorite-based products like Domestos to mitigate mold growth. The importance of proper installation techniques, such as minimizing the surface area for sealing and ensuring adequate drainage, is emphasized. Users also discuss the role of bathroom ventilation in mold prevention.
