    Hello,
can anyone help me connect this uniphone?
I present the old connection below - I do not know what model it is, at least it had the inscription "GM-WO" Connecting Digital Smart 5P Uniphone: Microphone and Loudspeaker Work, Calls Don't

I connected the new digital smart 5p uniphone as follows: the microphone, loudspeaker, opening, but calling does not work
Connecting Digital Smart 5P Uniphone: Microphone and Loudspeaker Work, Calls Don't
    I am asking for tips

The old model worked without any problems, so connecting the cables was done on the basis of trial and error, looking for the weight of the loudspeaker, etc ...

How is the call supposed to work if the RING terminal is free for you?

Put what is on SW1 into the RING.
Jumpers set as for 4-wire installation with opening on the microphone line (i.e. as you have now).

thank you for your interest and willingness to help
of course I tried such a connection as well as opening the loudspeaker line
I read somewhere that 4 cables do not mean a 4-wire installation and you need to make some bridges, etc.

After all, you are ok except for this free "RING" terminal. Plug in as I wrote, it must work. The opening is on the microphone line, because if it was on the handset line, there would be an electrolytic capacitor added to the old one and it is not in the photo.

Ps. Why did you leave behind those old "chips". There was an opportunity to get rid of them. Is the cable too short?

I succeeded, I shortened the cables and got rid of the extensions - maybe the cables were damaged somewhere
    Thank you for your help
    best regards

Hello, after a few months the intercom refused to obey, during the day the calling signal was triggered and it was playing all the time - I thought it might be the intercom's fault, I bought the same one, I connected it exactly the same and unfortunately it did not change anything. Please let me know what the problem may be

From the description, it looks like a problem outside the apartment - report such a situation to the administration / cooperative / manager.

    best regards

Because the calling signal is not produced by the uniphone. The signal comes from the outside, more precisely from the button below. Since he was constantly ringing, the button was jammed or even broken. Replacing the uniphone was unjustified.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting a Digital Smart 5P uniphone, where the microphone and loudspeaker function correctly, but calls do not work. The user initially connected the device based on trial and error from an older model labeled "GM-WO." Responses suggest that the issue may stem from a free RING terminal, which should be connected properly. After some troubleshooting, including shortening cables and removing extensions, the user successfully resolved the initial connection issue. However, after a few months, the uniphone began malfunctioning, continuously triggering the calling signal. Responses indicate that the problem likely lies outside the apartment, possibly with a jammed or broken button, rather than the uniphone itself.
