Hello. I am asking for help regarding the installation of an intercom / digital uniphone. After changing from the old model, the intercom does not make a sound when ringing - there is only a soft pop in the receiver (at maximum volume)

It seems to me that the question was whether the old uniphone had a built-in / additional generator.
Author, type "call generator" in the forum search engine and it will get bright.

Uniphones available in brands are cheap and do not have a generator, which is most often needed in 5 + 1 installations

My colleague seems to remember the "good old days". The truth is that uniphones sold in supermarkets and those in specialized stores are the same, and in these and those there is usually no need to look for a generator. The difference is that in a specialized store such a generator can be purchased and the seller will usually be able to tell us how to install "this". Generators disappeared from uniphones, if only because they appeared in switchboards. Probably, in the case of multi-family installations, this and its economic justification ...
The same story goes for opening. In the past, the power supply to the bolt was looped through uniphones. Now, the new power supplies have a system triggered by ground (most often a relay) feeding on the tap and the sixth core in the uniphone is not used.

Thanks for the answers. The old intercom did not have a generator, only a built-in buzzer.

so add a separate so-called "buzzer" to the new "buzzer", piezo with a generator and give it
    + to call a uniphone
    - to the mass of the uniphone
this has the downsides, but as a workaround it is a solution

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with the installation of a Smart 5P Digits intercom, specifically the absence of ringing sound when a call is made. Users suggest that the problem may stem from the lack of a built-in generator in the new uniphone, which is often necessary for proper operation in 5 + 1 installations. It is noted that many inexpensive uniphones do not include this component, leading to the recommendation of adding a separate piezo generator as a workaround. The conversation highlights the differences between uniphones sold in supermarkets versus specialized stores, emphasizing the availability of necessary components and installation guidance in the latter. The author confirms that the old intercom had a built-in buzzer but no generator, prompting the proposed solutions.
