Hello, I am the owner of this Panasonic TH-37PA30 TV. I would like to buy a 2in1 device (Smart TV + DVB-T) called Xenic Smart Media Box DVB-T2 DVB-2241. The problem is that this device can be connected to the TV only via HDMI, which my older TV does not have, but it has, among others, D-Sub (VGA). Unfortunately, from what I orientate, the cable from HDMI to VGA actually exists, but it will not work because it is supposedly a sell. It is only when this cable has a converter that converts digital signal to analog signal that the image will appear. Unfortunately, just the picture, and I care about the picture + sound which is probably not strange :P The price is also not small, and if it is possible due to the fact that I have recently moved, I need a cheap way. Namely, my questions are:

    1. Does the device pay off in general and does it work as it should, i.e. Smart TV (I only want IPLE, that I have a computer in the gaming pages, so its parameters are enough for that?) And of course terrestrial television? And its price is 169 PLN, as in the jbc promotion. :P

    2. If this device, how do you recommend it to me, which cables should I use?

    3. If this purchase does not pay, is there any alternative in similar money. I remind you recently moved in and I do not want to spend a lot of money today, moreover, it probably would not pay off because you could buy a TV with these functions about PLN 800 a consumption.

    4. The price at which I would like to close with all this is PLN 200 if it is possible.

Unfortunately, it turned out that I cannot insert links because I am new; / So I will give where to find the devices. By entering Xenic Smart Media Box DVB-T2 DVB-2241 in a home electronics store Euro DVB-2241 pops up jbc. the one for 169 PLN.
Unfortunately, the TV set in Panasonic TH-37PA30 google has the specification on telekom.com.pl
And now something else I'm watching movies from the net through a connected laptop. It is connected via a D-Sub cable taken from an old monitor, and the sound through a double cinche, and to the bench jack plug 3.5 - 2 x cinch socket. Can anything be used for this?

    Many thanks in advance :)

There are such, provided that the TV has a PC audio IN input.

From what I see, I do not have, but I took pictures of what I have. And I do not know why, but the TV does not play sound only the image as it is connected to the front via D-Sub (signed PC) and a double jack on the front panel of the TV with a laptop.

If this is how it works with the converter, it will work, too, do you have sound from your laptop connected to AV3?

Yes, exactly AV3. Only what cable to use for this because this decoder (Smart TV) has only from what I see the HDMI output, and this converter costs 60 PLN; / Is there any other option to connect this device?

    No.
What resolution are you able to get on the TV screen when connecting a laptop?

And what about the sound because, for example, on apricots I found such a converter Cable Elmak DisplayPort - D-Sub 0.15m Black (SAVIO CL-90) for PLN 30 but I do not see any connection to the sound. Is there a converter from HDMI to D-Sub + Jack or cinch? Because I understand that we are talking about such a converter :P ?

I can't tell you exactly now because I just disconnected the laptop from the TV and I'm writing with it now, but more than Full HD 1920x1080 which is surprising because it's an old TV :P the first unit was certainly over 2000.

At Alle ... you have a lot of these converters, they have, apart from the VGA output, an audio output Jack.

Sorry, the error crept, I meant Gembird HDMI Cable - D-Sub 0.15m Black (A-HDMI-VGA-04) for PLN 33.
