Hello. I write because I have a problem with my external portable drive yesterday everything was ok and today when I connected it to a laptop it searches for it but it shows me that it is empty and there are over 200 GB with 500 GB of various files and the best as I checked with my sister on a laptop everything is ok, so it looks like there is a fault in my laptop and I have a 32 GB pen drive and read normally. I am asking for help and the format is out of the question.

This laptop system disk ("WD") is damaged :!:
Copy data from it to another functional medium .
http://hddscan.com/ -> here you will see "exclamation marks" (at least 3).

Sorry, you must replace this disk. :|

And this external drive (Hitachi) seems to be currently technically sound (all that remains is to control parameter 199 SMART from now on).
