A paper jam message is displayed when starting the printer. The paper is out of the printer is clean when you open the cover underneath the scanner, there is no piece of paper inside. The strip that runs at the head is cleaned so it comes off. The question remains, what else, I guess that there is a possibility of damaging the aforementioned belt sensor "how to check it I do not know. The panel shows the message" Open the tailgate and remove the jammed paper "all the time, even after this operation, the message does not disappear which may indicate some connection with the problem In similar models, after opening the rear flap and lifting the scanner flap, the printer checks if there is already a problem removed here the head goes to the original place and nothing left again, the head goes to the end and jam continues. Maybe it is a problem with the head position at the maximum point on the right side Is there a sensor at the back, when there is access to the paper, because I have not found any latch.
Movies from the printer's work may tell someone something:

I had the same message in j315, Only replacing the electronics helped. Of course, check that you do not have a jammed sensor at 100% ;)

And which sensor are we talking about? I checked everything I could, the paper is definitely gone. As for electronics, what exactly? I can look for another and see if it moves.

I will check on another model dcp-j315w something I do not like docking the head. I will check. Technical question whether dcp-j315w and dcp-j140 are the same heads? I have a working dcp-j315w, but the dry head can be replaced :)

For cleaning, the lower sensor on the board connected to the head, then to check if the switch in the cleaning station is flooded with ink. It is enough to rinse with hot water and dry. Station disassembly required.
