    Hello

Since yesterday I have a problem starting the Toyota Yaris I.

The problem is that when I insert the key I can't turn it. I have to do great gymnastics, make circular movements around my wrist to finally "jump" and be able to fire it.

A special agent was used to lubricate the ignition, but it did not help.

I called several places and replacement of the ignition comes out expensive, it is cheaper to earn some extra money (I do not have the spare one I open), but then it is possible that it is not his fault and I will pay for getting a new key and for the "new" ignition.

Below I attach photos of the key, maybe a professional can tell if the key is very worn and may actually make it impossible to turn it in the ignition.

You tried to move the steering wheel well because maybe it's the steering wheel lock that prevents you from turning.
Sometimes I do, but not in Yaris.

There may also be a key or latches stuck in the ignition switch and you may not see it by eye.

Any good lock repair company will remove the insert and match this key with a matter of skill

The car was repaired, the key was to blame. The cost of repair is PLN 100, although the door is now quite hard to open, but it is supposed to come out.
