Patient: VW Passat B5 1.6 Sedan
Problem: After the visit to the car wash, the fuel filler flap has stopped
I checked the fuses - they are ok. The button in the cabin is working. The current comes to the motor from the flap, but the motor does not react. The motor connected shortly to the battery works.
I checked the meter and the motor plug is 12.5V. After connecting a motor type load or an ordinary bulb, the voltage drops to 0. I have also connected the LED strip to the test and it shines (although not fully strong, it is normally illuminated directly under the battery). It looks as if the current was "running somewhere" at the moment of load.
I have also checked the cables leading to the comfort module under the driver's rug and the module itself. The cables had some moisture, but no cable is damaged. I dried everything. The comfort module was dry.
I will be grateful for any suggestions on how to solve the above problem.

I think it is. Check the bulb output from the module, how it will work, do it by pass (new cable for the actuator)

In fact, maybe a hasty opinion with these cables is simply not visually damaged. Probably the moisture under the rug has done its job. In total, some time ago I had a problem with the passenger's door, the central one sometimes did not lock them or open them. After some time, the problem finally calmed down. I think I need to do a small installation review.

After a closer inspection, it turned out that one of the cables coming out of the comfort module was damaged. After cutting it out and soldering the new one, the problem resolved.
