Hello, my lenovo y580 drive hit my hard drive. I am thinking of buying an SSD. The Lenovo Y580 has the option of attaching the mSata. Now the question is whether to look for mSata disks or look for 2.5 'SSD? What choice would be better, probably 2.5 'are cheaper from what I saw. Is there a difference between these drives? I will add that the previous disk was very hot. In general, the space for a 2.5 'disk is quite poor because there is a higher temperature there. Which of these SSDs heats up less? What drives do you recommend up to PLN 400? However, I would prefer something above 120gb. I was wondering if I can now buy 120 gb mSat for Windows and buy 2.5 'for data storage, what do you think?
    Please help and answer :)
From the mSata available from us, I found only Samsung Evo and Kingston. Still worth investing in mSata?

At a friend's place, I used the Y580 SSD, it fell on mSATA + 1 TB storage in the HDD bay. A safer option when it comes to data storage, but financially a little worse. As for the performance difference, it is unlikely to be there, although with mSATA disks there is not as much choice as with 2.5 ".

The availability of mSata is very limited. From what I knew, you can no longer get the mSata Crucial or Plextor drives that everyone has recommended. I only found Samsung 850 in the 120 and 250 gb version Evo mSat or some Kingston ... and for mSat you have to give PLN 50 more than 2.5 ''
