I have a car of a Volkswagen Polo 1.2 friend, but on the dashboard as the car is not lit normally you can see the kilometers traveled, but if you turn the ignition once without igniting the engine, instead of a flashing INSP sign appears
Volkswagen Polo 1.2 - Understanding INSP Message on Dashboard and Kilometer Display

After a while it goes out and if the car ignites, INSP disappears and you can see normally kilometers, but I wonder if it is normal or is it something that is INSP? Unless in Polo this is the inspection of the car and the INSP sign is from the beginning, but I am not sure if anyone could explain it to me?

The inspection inscription informs us to review the car. The site is deleted after
connecting a computer, if we perform a self-inspection, we can delete the inscription inspection with a combination of buttons, it all depends what the VW POLO model is.

Volkswagen Polo engine 1.2 year 2007, there is a description like this:
    https://vwpolo6n.wordpress.com/tag/kasowanie-komunikatu-service-insp-polo-6n/

but I do not know if info from above cord:
    Quote:
turn the key in the ignition switch to the ignition position

means to light the engine or just turn it until the controls are activated.
I tried to turn the key so that the controls would turn on the engine was not on fire, but it did not work. Maybe I need to light this car?

It's how I did it and it does not work, this scheme does not help either. Somewhere in there I read that like on a hot one, but I'm not sure and I would not like to try and not to damage something.

If it's a friend's car, why are you combing in it? The inscription "isnp" only informs about the need to inspect the car - oil change, etc. In no case does it affect the usefulness of the vehicle. The daylight reset button must be pressed, held and the ignition switched on - after approx. 10s. the inscription will be deleted. I close.
