    VW Polo 1.4 16V 2002 74ps.

ECU was detachable, now the engine does not start the starter turns.
There are no errors in the immobilizer.
EPC error and engine error are displayed.
The engine controller throws error 17812 - exhaust gas recirculation system, no basic settings have been made.
The adaptation of EGR and EGR system fails with Autocom.
I tried to do the throttle adaptation but it stands still in the picture and nothing goes on.
What can be the reason for not starting the engine, because without EGR adaptation the engine should start? ...

Have you checked the fuses? The term "there is no electricity" makes little difference. The question is whether there is no power or injection or coil?

The problem was on the immobilizer side, although the error was not displayed.
I mean, it displayed an error but only after a long starter shooting.
I had to read the PIN and adjust the ECU.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2002 VW Polo 1.4 16V (74ps) that fails to start despite the starter turning. The user reports no errors in the immobilizer but sees EPC and engine errors, specifically error 17812 related to the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system, indicating that no basic settings have been made. Attempts to adapt the EGR and throttle using Autocom have been unsuccessful. Responses suggest checking for fuel and spark, disconnecting the battery, and verifying fuses. Ultimately, the issue was traced back to the immobilizer, which did not display an error until after prolonged starter engagement. The user resolved the problem by reading the PIN and adjusting the ECU.
