Hello, when I have the car radio turned on and I turn on the video recorder, the radio suddenly loses its waves. What could be the reason?

Most likely the device's inverter is causing interference.

Any easy way to stop this interference?

Either a better converter or linear power supply.

Linear will not be bothersome somehow because this video recorder probably does not download too much.

For a test, you can also quickly wrap the device in aluminum foil and see if it gives way.

Give a 12v stabilizer at the input.

I had a similar problem with GPS coverage in navi.

When I turned on the recorder, navi (added to the glass) did not catch the satellites.

    The stabilizer did it positively.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the interference experienced when a dash cam is activated while the car radio is on, leading to a loss of radio waves. The primary cause identified is the inverter of the dash cam, which can disrupt radio signals. Suggested solutions include using a better converter or a linear power supply, which is less likely to cause interference. A temporary test involves wrapping the device in aluminum foil. Additionally, the use of a 12V stabilizer at the input is recommended, as it has resolved similar issues with GPS devices in the past.
