Charging paused. Battery temperature too low.

    Hello,

that's the message on my phone. The phone was soaked (you can call it flooded) so here I would look for a problem, but before I undress it I would like to ask for advice. What could go wrong? The message looks like this:

Galax A5 2016 - Charging paused. Battery temperature too low.

Thanks in advance for your advice and best regards!

If it was flooded and you are going to undress it (not easy) then look for traces of liquid on the disc and remove them with the help of iso, it would be a good solution to have a bath in an ultrasonic bath.

Hmm ... If it was flooded then why do you keep the batteries still in it and connect the charger to it: /?

Also ration so much that in this model to get to the battery is not so easy ...

Well, this is not a simple matter. It simply meant not providing very unnecessary electricity to a flooded wet device.

It's my dad's phone. The rain caught him, and the phone was in his pocket. It did not "flood", but took some moisture through this pocket. When he came home, he did not know what was going on. Especially that this is not a generation that does not take your eyes off the screen. After some time (matter of hours) completely reflexively, when the phone did not turn on, he connected it to the charger, and there showed a triangle with the thermometer symbol (probably). He gave up the warranty and on the motherboard the service technicians found "traces of liquid" and did not undertake further repairs. Since then, the phone was idle in the drawer. Somehow, now I came to check it out. He turned on and showed what you can see in the first post.

That's why I wrote a post, especially since, as my colleague pointed out, the demolition of this phone is not the simplest one.

The probability of damage to the display is very large, but there is no other way to diagnose and repair it.

Hey. There is a damaged / corroded resistor responsible for charging control. It is on the bottom right next to the charging socket. The exchange will help if there are no other faults. Have you put these phones out? (Galaxy Ax). If not, you will beat this lcd and the phone will be rubbish.
PS. do not be suggestive of YT videos. There often the phones are already already glued and it just seems that the glue is easy to release.
    greetings

Without the right tools (LCD separator) you can not do it unless you try without it but then the probability of damage is very large.

If someone has the skill to undress this phone, there is no need for a separator. As for the battery temperature, you have one thermistor on the tape with the USB connector and the other on the PCB. I bet that replacing the tape with the connector should do the job.

    Thanks for the answers.

I once distributed two iPods and the balance of broken screens is 1: 1 ...

In that case, how much could I pay for something like this with someone who knows?
I am asking cautiously, because people like to add themselves, and I do not want them to issue an invoice for the replacement of the display and half of the phone, and they exchanged the thermistor in 20 minutes.

    and best regards

    How difficult?
    This is A5 2016
We get to him from the side of the back, the display was raised in the usual a5

You can only do well so that the service has an ultrasonic cleaner.

If you think that for someone who undressed two pieces of iphons, it will be an easy job, think this way ... Did you ever do it yourself if you're such an expert on you?

Galax A5 2016 - Charging paused. Battery temperature too low.

These are fucking, the worst is to solder the sockets, here is the need for an expert and not to start a sardifobe.

The service said that for the service from 100 zlotys, but it is not known whether it can be repaired. (?)

After flooding, if the phone was not used for a long time, you never really know if it can be repaired. It all depends on how much liquid was there.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Galax A5 2016 smartphone that displays a "Charging paused. Battery temperature too low" message after exposure to moisture. Users advise against connecting the charger to a flooded device and suggest checking for liquid damage, particularly on the motherboard and charging components. Recommendations include using isopropyl alcohol for cleaning and ultrasonic baths for thorough treatment. The difficulty of disassembling the device is noted, with emphasis on the risk of damaging the display and the need for specialized tools. Repair costs are uncertain, depending on the extent of liquid damage and the specific components affected, such as resistors and thermistors.
