Amica EB521BA Oven - Reset, beep, return to normal when cables are disconnected.
    Hello.
The Amica oven switches off during operation, the display goes blank and the appliance beeps. After disconnecting the voltage, it returns to the clock setting, the torque is applied and it turns off again. I turned on the oven to check the cables and found that the error was caused by the cable shown in the photo, which leads from the panel to the inside of the device. When it is disconnected, everything works properly, when I connect it during operation, the device is immediately turned off. Unfortunately, I do not know what its function is and I am afraid to use the oven with a disconnected cable. Does anyone know what its function is and what could be causing the error?

    Hello
I have exactly the same problem, I was too quick to solve it :) ))
This cable leads to the door hinge and to the flashy illuminated handle. The easiest way to disconnect it.
The problem is that the oven housing is made of a thin deformable sheet metal and there is a short circuit somewhere with the hinge which should be electrically insulated from the housing.
The isolation of the hinge is made with some plastic and paper washers, you need to check it and possibly stick some electrical insulator between the hinges and the casing sheets.
    Best regards.

    Hey,
The same situation with Amica EB621BA + IN 4m after the end of the warranty. Can you tell us how to get to this cable in the handle and where is this cable damaged? Or whether the option to disconnect this cable does the trick. Is this cable also responsible for the door opening sensor? Because I can clearly see the dependence when the oven turns on immediately after opening the door, turns off and beeps trying to turn on again.

    Hello
In my Amica EB521MA + IN oven, these cables could be disconnected and only the light in the handle did not work.
The symptoms were the same after opening the door beep and reset.
The cable was not damaged anywhere, only the short circuit was on the hinges with the oven housing.
I didn't bury anything in the door, I took off the tin cover of the oven and isolated it from the hinge so that it wouldn't touch.
    I hope I helped.
    Greetings Marcin

Hi, I just fixed it with the way given above. Protip - do not disassemble the side wall, just unscrew the 4 screws of the panel cover on the top to take it off.
