Hello. I wanted to change the speedometer line. I have already disassembled all the screws at the meter, etc. It only stays on the cord and 2 cubes with wires. I wanted to unscrew the line so that it loosened a little and then the speedometer came out nicely, but I don't know where this line is under the hood and where to unscrew it? 1.4 8 valve 60HP engine, year 97 in the sedan.

as there is a cable drive, the cable goes to the gearbox below the gear selector. So it falls down vertically

on the basis of these photos it appears that in this car the meter drive is electric to the left wheel to the hub. Are you sure you unfastened the cable from the clocks. If you unfastened it, ask someone and pull it towards you and it will be visible in the engine compartment. Repairing this may involve replacing the wheel hub

if you want to replace the meter backlight bulbs, you do not need to disassemble it. Each bulb is best to turn the holder with pliers and you have it in your hand. The backlight is around the meters and in the line you have bulbs with indicators

Faj from 96, all AF, and basically Opel, have an electronic speedometer and the pulser is in the gearbox, 2 years later changed a bit, but also in the gearbox and from 00 from the ABS controller, you go to the factory navi.
In asters g from 98 was from the left paste as there was no abs

You need to disassemble the steering wheel, not otherwise, by removing the cover and then the counter, and to do this, you need to disconnect the minus clamp from the battery and wait for a minute, unscrew the torx screws from the heart airbag, disconnect everything and unscrew the nut and then remove it from the spline with right-left movements .

You confuse with the Corsa B, the Astra F always had a line.
