Hello.
Recently I have become the owner of a liquid nitrogen separator. It looks exactly like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjtgrnlYlDI
Unfortunately, however, there is a problem of uncontrolled temperature drop.
The second time I refueled the thermos and the second time I have the same problem.
I will describe the last situation.
- I connect the drained thermos to the box.
- I start the device - it cools down to the set temperature - 140 degrees and maintains it.
- I turn off the equipment - the temperature rises to +2 degrees
- when the temperature increased, I decided to turn on the device again - I wanted to check how it deals with the glass in the iPhone - I set -110 degrees
- after reaching the temperature of -110 the temperature decreases further, and through the can connected next to the hoses, more and more cold air is escaping, as if the pressure in the thermos was rising uncontrollably. I panicked, unplugged the tube and covered the thermos with several blankets, in a few minutes the thermos was empty.
From what I've seen there are 2 types of such devices, one has a built-in pump that pumps air into the thermos and a return hose that brings "frost" to the device and the other which using a vacuum pump.
I wonder if I should not oil the built-in pump and connect the vacuum pump?
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Unfortunately, I can't find the instructions anywhere.
Has anyone maybe something like this or some experience with it?
I will be grateful for any help in taming this equipment.
