So I have an 8gb flash drive and I don't know what happened to him. It worked normally for a while and recently I decided to rip the system on it. I plug it in and see that there is a movie on it. I couldn't delete it from the device, so I tried to format it (PPM-> format). I couldn't because I was writing "The disk is write protected".
So I downloaded Hard Disk Low Level Format and did low-level formatting. The movie has removed itself and now as I insert PD it shows that I have to format it, so I click Format but it is still write-protected. I don't know what to do anymore.

I am posting a photo from the ChipGenius result

In addition, I say that in Disk Management, when I connect pd it says that it is Online and when I try to format it (and an error pops up) it changes to "Read only".
I also tried diskpart through cmd but it doesn't work.

And so btw yet FC MpTool program probably does not detect this pd (if it should).

My suggestion, standard! Burn some Linux to yourself, in this case to disk. Keep the record - it will be useful later. From Linux I suggest Puppy - relatively quick and trouble-free. After burning the disc, start distro. When you run distro connect pen and then try to do anything on it.

Why Puppy You have given little information about the equipment, you can only think about it. Either you have a babok in Win (I assume you have one) or the pen is kicked.

    Yes, I would.

Topic summary

An 8GB flash drive is reported as unusable due to a "disk write protected" error, preventing deletion and formatting. The user attempted low-level formatting with Hard Disk Low Level Format, which removed a movie file but did not resolve the write protection issue. Disk Management indicates the drive is "Online" but switches to "Read only" upon formatting attempts. The user also tried using diskpart via command prompt and noted that the FC MpTool program does not detect the drive. Suggestions include using a Linux distribution, specifically Puppy Linux, to troubleshoot the issue, and checking compatibility with AlcorMP software for memory detection.
