I wonder if there is any way to get this programmer to handle chips:
- 27c400 (this EPROM has 40 pins, so it will enter the socket, but not on
list of supported chips )
http://www.meditronik.com.pl/doc/plus/27c400.pdf - 27c800 (this EPROM has 42 pins, so it will not enter the socket anymore, it is not on
list of supported chips , and I do not see any adapter for DIP42 anywhere
http://www.eliptor.pl/pub/pdf/St/M27C800.pdf Would you be able to help me verify that I will program at least 27c400 with this programmer?
Programmers that will certainly handle the 27c800 are available at prices of about PLN 2,000, and this definitely exceeds my capabilities (it will not pay off).
I will be grateful for your help.

I found information on how to program the mentioned EPROMs using TL866 (so I will probably buy it)

27c160 - requires dividing the file into 4 parts (total commander - option DIVIDE FILE),
bank 1 (A18-0, A19-0),
bank 2 (A18-1, A19-0),
bank 3 (A18-0, A19-1),
bank 4 (A18-1, A19-1),

The cheaper versions come with basic equipment, while the more expensive versions have a number of adapters. It is worth considering what you will need it for and buy it immediately with the appropriate adapters.
Best regards!
From what I can see, on ali, the programmer with adapters costs the same as the programmer and a set of adapters separately. In general, adapters are expensive (as much as a programmer).
