I wanted to do as you wrote and I moved consoles to the other room where there is a router. I connected everything and checked through wifi. Everything works download has jumped on 19 mb / s. The distance between the old place and the new one is about 8m on a straight line with one wall. I am surprised by this difference. Can this suggest damage to the wifi module in the console? Will signal amplifiers help? I would rule out the Router because I live on the second floor, I can leave the house and walk away about 30m from the block (the router is on the other side of the block) and it catches my range on the phone.

Somewhere I read that ps4 has poor wifi and it's best to hook up with a cable. Maybe the new ps4 has a different wifi model with savings and there is such a difference.

Buy yourself a wired wifi router and both connect via wifi

I managed to find a Ufff solution ... I borrowed (I already purchased) Linksys RE1000 which I connected wirelessly with Wi-Fi while PS4 connected to Linksys wired. On the console I set the wired Internet and oscillates within 10mb / s downloading upload 1 mb / s.

I watch a lot of movies from the NAS through PS4. The time it takes to read files via WiFI is embarrassing. Often the files are not read and PS4 returns a message that the file is damaged.
Watching family pics is a real nightmare (especially with the amount I keep).
The cable is the only safe solution.
I have (it seems to me) quite a good Mikrotik 2011UiAS-2HnD-IN router. It is true that the floor is higher than the PS4, but the distance is about 4.5 -5 meters. WiFi in PS4 is a gamble.

After a few months of testing, I can safely say that the amplifier did the job. I recommend it to everyone who plays online games without any problems
