Hello. I intend to buy ps4 anytime soon. But everyone on the internet is already writing that ps5 will come out this or next year. What do you think about buying a ps? Is it worth PS slim or pro or maybe xbox consoles? Thank you in advance for your help.

I forgot to add that I have a TV without 4k and probably from hdr and I do not have a fixed net at home.

Internet is indispensable both to the console and to the computer. You won't play PvP games. In addition, consoles use accounts from which they download games and keep them on disk. Unless you're using a disc. In your place, I would take care of permanent internet. I do not have a console only a pc but I know that even games on discs need registration and from time to time check whether they work with a registered user to curb piracy.

I provide internet via mobile, I have 30 GB per month. I live in the countryside with poor internet cable. So waiting a minimum of 2 or 3 years because my friends have been waiting so long. And mine from phone to pvp is enough. But my point is that when I download a steam game on the computer from the store, it folds my internet package. And I heard that PS4 games in the box version can be installed and sometimes only a patch needs to be downloaded.

Singleplayer game updates are optional. And as for multi, I rarely play because I usually play pvp poorly.

Even mobile internet, e.g. in play, offers great opportunities and I think that it is worth buying a router and having Internet access from several devices.

Okay, we'll skip the router topic I might buy. But I'm asking to buy a ps4 not a router. Why do I need a router if I don't have anything to use it for, apart from a prehistoric laptop on which minecraft even barely works (and really seriously 10/15 fps). Please answer me on the question about ps4

If so, consider buying a motion controller and then play on the console.

The motion controller only supports a few games and it's average so why invest.
