    Hello,
Recently, my wife made a surprise and she lost my car key. The problem is that it is a keyless key. There are two options - VW service - the cost is about 820 PLN, or try to deal with the topic yourself. If I have an original VCDS from ADAKO, can I program the key so that all functions (immobilizer, central locking, Keyless entry) work? For sure I would first have to organize a clean key - if I could not get a keyless just plain - can I add it instead of that lost one (one original with keyless and an additional one would remain without KL).
And by the way - on the Allegro is full of keys from used cars - you can do something about them, are they only suitable for parts (housing etc ...)?

In summary, you have trouble and expense. The key in VW has always been expensive.

Thanks for the help, it's hard - let a man in life have only such problems :) I did not want to push myself into unnecessary costs when buying and attempting to program keys from one source or another - if this is not possible, the topic is settled.
And what are the programming options for Vcds in the "immobilizer" group?

If you had this key properly prepared for vin cars and for this access code then VCDSem will be added.

    Ok thanks for the hints,
Finally, a visit to the site ended - cost: key + insert + programming: about PLN 1250.00

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around programming a new keyless key for a 2012 VW Passat B7 using ADAKO's original VCDS after the original key was lost. Responses indicate that while programming is possible with a properly prepared key, it may involve additional costs and complexities. The user also inquires about the feasibility of using keys from used cars available online, which are generally deemed suitable only for parts.
