    Hello,

I have a lovato installation and an rgj3 reducer, for some time there has been such a problem that about 5s before switching there is a short hiss of gas from the reducer (such a black element, which is probably supposed to discharge excess pressure), but for me it is done for each time before switching from pb to gas.
Today I was at the gas supplier and I barely opened the mask, he said, without dismantling or the computer with the entire reducer to be replaced ...
I will add a pictorial photo. Lovato Installation and RGJ3 Reducer: Gas Hissing Before PB to Gas Switch

Someone was working on the topic?

You're kidding, aren't you? Once upon a time, this excess will lead you away with the mask ...
Enter the name of the reducer, the numbers from it and read, you will check the tensioner by comparing the prices of the regeneration and the new reducer.

Thus, this valve is a safety relief valve, when the gas pressure on the volatile side is too high, it is activated and the gas is released. Most likely you have a damaged valve or diaphragm in the reducer but I will not say exactly because I have never serviced this reducer.

oh buddy better do not drive on gas until you fix it, the gas becomes flammable in the air already at 10% concentration, what you noticed is only when switching, and you do not know what is happening while driving and braking with the engine at the cut of, where the reducer it can pump itself up to over 2 bar, then this discharge is more serious and it is enough to explode in the engine compartment
