Hello everyone, very warmly. I would like to ask you for help. Well, the problem is, I have an Audi a4 b5 with an adr engine with a capacity of 1.8. The car is from 1998. Recently I got an airbag error, I checked all the fuses and did not find any defective pieces. I decided to order the ELM 327 connector to delete the error, but the computer does not want to connect to the car. It seems to me that ELM is not flawed, all drivers are installed and the device is detected by the computer. I also got to the plug in the car and here is the core of my problem, because the plug has only 3 cables (as in the picture). My question is then, is this plugin factory only has 3 wires and are they enough to connect to a computer, or should it look different? Thank you in advance for your help ?

Elm works after CAN, you need a VAG K-Line interface, first of all, and secondly it's probably nothing but an engine that you do not diagnose with the Elm interface.

You did not get to plugs only for socket OBD.

So that the ELM interface, however it worked in its OBD 2 plug in the car, I would have to have some cables on pins 6 and 14 anyway? I've tried various diagnostic programs, but since I do not have a connection to the CAN bus, this connector is useless and I need something on the K-line. Thank you for your help :)
