    Hello,
I would like to get advice on connecting the RGB LED strip.

    My device data:

RGB 5050 14.4 W tape per meter, I have 16 meters of tape (3 sections - 6 meters, 6 meters and 4 meters - connected to one controller and power supply)

The first configuration that was on the tape was:

    230 V -> 12 V 8 a power supply (i.e. 100W - that's what the seller sold me) -> RGB controller (Chinese) 3 x 4a

    After about a year the power supply burned down, I bought a 12 V modular power supply 20 a = 250 W

The set worked about 2-3 months because the LED controller burned out I decided to buy a 24 a controller!

And now I got a lesson in the selection of devices cool and beautiful. Since I have a tape that draws 230.4 W power, I need a power supply and controller over 230W.

I have another 3x4a controller for another tape in which I don't change colors (I don't need a remote control):

    QUESTIONS:
    1. Can I pair a 3 x 4a remote control (black touch - the one I don't use) with a 3 x 8a controller?

If your answer is yes, please provide instructions on how to do it (we will check if it works)

    2. Can I connect 3 controllers (Chinese) to each episode and pair one Chinese remote controller to them to control these controllers at once?

If your answer is yes, are you 102% sure? because there is nothing to test here, I have to make a purchase and it's a shame to do it blindly. Of course, I am also asking for some pairing instructions (programming the controller remote).

    Thank you and best regards

PS. I hope that my description is quite readable and easy to decipher :)

It's best to just check it by trying to pair. If it goes wrong then everything is clear.

From the pilot's point of view, you can control several receivers if the signal from it is understandable to everyone. In other words, if you buy 10 identical sets (10 receivers and 10 transmitters) then you will be able to control 10 receivers with one transmitter.

Ok cool and how to do it for this type of pilots?

Does the colleague have a user manual? Usually, but not always the way of programming that the receiver should have a button that should be held down for a while and if the receiver is equipped with a diode, it should light up permanently until we send a specific signal from the remote control (and here you need to try to press the buttons on the remote control in turn the trial and error method since there are no instructions). If the receiver receives a signal from the remote control, it will blink the LED on the receiver or simply turn it off. If we want to assign several receivers to one remote control, then we must press the programming button on these receivers to enter them into the listening mode and send a signal from the remote control, as I mentioned earlier.

    Bad advice.

    You're right here.

Not always. Transmitters can be assigned to receivers.

And if this button is not what? Do you see him there

Do you see any diode there responsible for that?

This is the instruction for matching the universal remote control for the TV and not for the Chinese led controller. There, every remote control can match every receiver and not necessarily.

There is just no button on the controller. Only the instructions on the remote control that you need to hold a certain button before turning on the power to the controller. Unfortunately, this option does not work :(
