    Hello

I'm trying to build a new pc. I have a problem with choosing the right power supply, so I am asking you.

The PC will consist of the i5 7600k (it is possible that I will want to overclock at least the 200MHz) + mobo with the z270 chipset, 8GB DDR4 2400mhz 2x4gb graphics, rx 470 graphics (or gtx 1060, I do not need more powerful, I do not play so challenging games).

    Additional components are:
SSD Iridium Pro from GR 240GB
    HDD 1TB Toshiba p300
    DVD burner for SATA

everything closed in the SilentiumPC Aquarius X70W housing with additional 3 120mm fans.

What power supply would you recommend in such a situation? The budget I can allocate is a maximum of PLN 260.

Thanks in advance for the answers, best regards.

[Chieftec CTG-650C 650W] - a little spare, but there will be a better work culture. Alternatively, it may still be [SilentiumPC Vero M1 600W (SPC117)]

Well, not too much stock? I do not plan to upgrade components next year, so maybe something weaker and better quality? About the Vero M1 I read somewhere that it has a "Chinese" center and that it holds tensions on average.
500-550W would be sufficient for this kit? A such Be Quiet! https://www.morele.net/zasilacz-be-quiet-system-power-8-500w-80-plus-bn241-773215/ would be fine?

This Bequiet will power such a set without any problems.

A branded 300-350W is enough for this set.

    Of course not a problem.

Such a set after the OC draws within ~ 250-300W.

Although the Vero M1 works, I would let it go because of the components used in it and because you can buy a better Corsair CX450M. I would choose him.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around selecting an appropriate power supply unit (PSU) for a PC build featuring an Intel i5 7600k processor, a Z270 motherboard, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and either an RX 470 or GTX 1060 graphics card. The user seeks a PSU that can support potential overclocking and additional components, including an SSD, HDD, and DVD burner, within a budget of PLN 260. Recommendations include the Chieftec CTG-650C (650W) for extra headroom, and the Be Quiet! System Power 8 (500W) and Corsair CX450M (450W) as suitable options, with consensus that a quality PSU in the 300-550W range would suffice for the setup, especially under overclocking conditions.
