    Hello.
My previous maki Kakaku hammer drill has reached its end. I keep an eye on a couple of models, let's say amateur ones. I am not interested in professional brands in the amount of PLN 1.5-3 thousand. I will not use the machine very often and also without overloading. When it comes to used branded models from pawn shops, it is known that they are either stolen or badly damaged. Nobody can tell what the history of the equipment is, so I don't want to take any chances. And now to the point, I have an eye on three models: MacAllister SDS plus 1200 W for PLN 278, Yato YT-82125 for PLN 367, Einhell TC-RH 900 for PLN 299. The first two have a 3-year warranty. Of course, you know, these are Made in China equipment and a slightly advanced option. Durability question. I have several MacAllister power tools, it is a Castorama brand and they do it as an amateur. As for the Yato power tools, I have no knowledge. As for Einhell, I have an old 15-year-old chainsaw and still cuts. Let me say that she got a bit in the ass. Although these devices from several years ago are not the same as now. Anyone have any knowledge about the durability of these models?

    best regards

I recommend the Bosch clone. For me, this drill works for 10 years, I drilled a few thousand. holes, mixed a few tons of glue / plaster / concrete etc. I've made tons of holes and I don't see any signs of wear.

It is half lighter than those proposed by you and more handy, when you need to drill with one hand, you will appreciate the difference. And it's dirt cheap.

I don't know if it's such good equipment or if I'm so lucky.

But that's what I mean with such equipment. More than once I had to drill through a 40 cm brick wall with a 22 mm drill to remove the plaster from the walls. The model you propose is not suitable for this. Besides, can you believe that such a small piece of equipment has the power of 2400 Waat?

It is not about Watts, it is known that it is always overstated in this type of equipment.

Well, if it is to be for heavy work, such drills are not suitable.

Here I have to protest - I have such a fake myself, but Ermann, even pulled a fi100 hole saw in a thick brick. 60 cm.

This copy is very versatile. Lots of cheap parts.
And as for the Macallister 1200W. I used such a borrowed one, and the owner himself recommended it because he had apparently found a good copy. After that, I bought something like that, but I didn't hit that well, I already lost 3 switches in two pieces after a long forging.

Likewise, a certain CMI 1500W was very good and it worked for a long time until the rack on the rotor was wiped off.

The question of hitting a specific copy, there is no point in comparing different models.

As for profi stimulants, here is also a lottery, I bought hammers in two pawn shops, but damaged handles in both (One fortunately DFR, so cheap replacements available).

However, I think I would go hunting for some better company used at this price with a vertical motor.

Me, too :) I read something wrong. 22mm drill bit and 40cm wall is not a problem.
I made a lot of holes for radiator tubes or electric cables.

But the walls, about 60 / 80cm, could not be moved - there was no power somewhere in 3/4 of the distance.

So far I have managed to revive my old equipment. It turned out that the brushes were just worn out. As for the new equipment, I will wait for the deals from Castorama's sale. Sometimes there are really attractive price offers.

    best regards
