    Hello

There was a problem today on my husqvarna cth135 tractor, engine

    B&S 31G777, type 0192 E1, code 120601 ZA, 17.5HP.

After firing, it immediately goes into high speed, I mark very high, it seems the crank will come out sideways. completely does not respond to throttle levers.
I took apart the housing to check organoleptically. I think there is a spring missing, can you suggest photos or where should it be? The equipment has not worked normally so far. Maybe someone will see after the photos that something is missing, the equipment is old, maybe something has already flown away. please help me before I have to briggs & stratton 17.5Hp - high speed, does not react to the throttle briggs & stratton 17.5Hp - high speed, does not react to the throttle briggs & stratton 17.5Hp - high speed, does not react to the throttle briggs & stratton 17.5Hp - high speed, does not react to the throttle briggs & stratton 17.5Hp - high speed, does not react to the throttle lug the beasts to the site. If you already have an exposed carburetor engine, check that the throttle linkage is securely in place in a typical location. Remove the air filter and the elbow from the carburetor air inlet side and check in the throat that the intake diaphragm responds to lever movement, i.e. closes / unclogs the air inlet. With the choke flap open, look (down into the carburetor) to see if the "gas" throttle is visible and if it responds to throttle movement. It can be detached from the throttle axis and not respond to the throttle / accelerator pedal, thus revealing the carburetor throat full and causing max. turnover. After all, the engine is already lukewarm and such a fault could occur.

    The damper is functional.

I manually close the engine, it automatically turns off until it is turned off.
Yesterday I was on the site after seeing similar engines, and the gas system, links and cables .. I have nothing missing, everything is in place as it should be. The guy said maybe that plastic regulator piece in the engine has broken, and you have to kick the whole engine.

Or just the regulator lever moving the throttle jammed, got dirty during last year's work, somewhere rusted through the winter, walks hard and doesn't close the throttle. First, check everything carefully and you may not need to interfere with the engine.

I have already driven a tractor this year, several times.
The equipment worked without any problems ... I drove normally into the garage and after weeks it didn't work out all the way ...

When I start the engine, there is such a rush of air that you need to use not much force to close the throttles, because I have to push the regulator forward with a noticeable force to make the throttle close. it is enough to let go of the finger and open the bonnet again, the regulator is tilted to the back.

What is this speed regulator there? Driven by the camshaft or the engine fan?

I think I'm not a specialist for the camshaft.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Husqvarna CTH135 tractor equipped with a Briggs & Stratton 17.5HP engine (model B&S 31G777). The user reports that after starting, the engine immediately accelerates to high speed and does not respond to throttle adjustments. Suggestions include checking the throttle linkage and carburetor components for proper function, as well as inspecting the speed regulator for dirt or damage. The user later discovers that the speed controller had fallen apart, resulting in damage to the camshaft, indicating a severe mechanical failure.
