    Hello! I have a question, can a Renault Clio 2 1.2 16V 2002 car replace the coolant with pink G12 + or do I have to stick to Renault and pour GLACEOL RX TYPE D? Is it somehow different from ordinary coolant? Regards

    Does color matter? Maybe you know the differences between G12 and this fluid from Renault? It seems to me that the fluid may be changed to blue / green with the designation G11. It is now probably blue.

    type G12 / G12 + fluid, silicate free
    fluid type G12 ++ / G13, silicate content 400-500 mg / l

    I have flooded G12 Hart in all cars from Punciak, Combo, ... to Jetta

    G12 + will be ok for this car. The manufacturer recommends silicate.

    Nowhere do I get an answer, is GLACEOL RX TYPE D interchangeable with G12 + and are they e.g. miscible? How are they different or is it just a Renault invention?

    I found information that it must meet the best Renault standard and e.g. they are: total glacelf or dynagel 2000 (it meets the Renault 41-01-001-D standard and does not contain toxic nitrites, silicates, amines, phosphates). I think I will decide on this dynagel, it is not expensive and has all the norms listed and it is not some "borygo or k2" for PLN 29.

    The car was flooded dynagel 2000 entered about 5l (when replacing the water pump), driven about 1000km, all OK, the car seems to heat up faster. Regards
