Hello, the problem is that the cursor has disappeared from the desktop and there is no reaction to move the mouse. It was okay before. In Uefi it works, while in safe mode Windows does not work. Treatments involving removing hid drivers from the device manager do not solve the problem. Connecting to other USB ports also does not. Devices and printers are visible devices (deleting and reinstalling does not give anything). It looks as if somehow Windows has turned off the pointing devices. When I enable the cursor with numpad, the cursor appears, but it still does not respond to mouse movement. The mice are Logi anywhere mx 2 and a4tech R80. An interesting fact is that the mouse for ps2 behaves the same. Desktop computer.
Reinstalling the system is a last resort, I've run out of ideas.

I see you have a USB mouse connected. Test the connection under ps / 2 and write or no response. Is there also a problem with other devices connected to USB or their number is large. did you connect it to USB 2.0 or 3.0?

Under PS / 2 is the same. Other devices are functioning properly. It does not matter if I connect to USB 2.0 or under 3.0. Even when I disconnect the other devices, the problem persists.

What can I sey? After all, I wrote that I checked three different mice. Only one of them works only on the cable and is connected under PS / 2. I also wrote that all of these mice work smoothly in UEFI. Everything is okay in the bios. Windows is up to date. I use it consciously from a computer and I do not mix CCleaner programs in the registry, because I guess that's the type of program you had in mind. In the manager described by you, I updated the drivers, and uninstalled them as a result and installed them again after rebooting the machine.
There is still no cursor response to move with the mouse, mice ...

Actually, it's a complete lack of it. It appeared only when I enabled the cursor with arrows from numpad.
I am writing in the past tense, because in the end I've put the system back, but some advice for the future can be very useful.

Topic summary

The user reports a problem with the cursor disappearing on a Windows 10 Pro desktop computer, with no response from the mouse despite it functioning in UEFI. Attempts to resolve the issue include testing different mice (Logi Anywhere MX 2, A4Tech R80), changing USB ports, and removing HID drivers, but none have been successful. The cursor can be enabled using the numpad, but it does not respond to mouse movements. The user confirms that the issue persists across multiple mice and that the system is up to date. They seek advice for future reference after reverting the system as a last resort.
