    Hello.
I have had a problem with the Toshiba 32 GB flash drive for some time.
It all started with the fact that when I set the list of programs to TV, I wanted to save it on a USB flash drive connected to the TV.
After that, I connected the pendrive to the computer to upload something to it and then watch it on TV, but I could not record anything on it or remove anything from it. Formatting helped. Then I wanted to upload something new again, but again the same problem, this time formatting did not help, I was getting an error "The disk is write protected". I searched several sites for help and some tutorials. I tried to fix the problem by removing the lock by editing the registry, but everything was as it should be. Then I tried the tutorial by repairing it with diskpart. This is where I came to the halfway point and another problem arose. In the command line I entered list disk-> select disk 1 (this is a pendrive) -> attributes disk clear readonly-> clean and here after entering the celan command an error appeared: "DiskPart has encountered an error: Unable to execute the request due to a device error I / O. See the System Event Log for more information.
Can something be done about it? Thank you in advance for any help.

    Greetings Tomek.

Have you used it before, and was it OK? Maybe you bought a defective product, then it is worth sending it back to the seller to replace or repair it.

Isn't it feasible to delete a partition and leave it unfinished either? You can also try resetting this disk. In both cases, you will lose your data. If you don't have anything important on it and you treat it as an "educational toy", you may be able to revive it. However, if you plan to further exploit it, I strongly advise against it. Buy a new memory that you know you can use without any problems, without wondering if you can write or read the data.

Have you tried to format via this TV (if it has such an option)? I used to have a similar problem after connecting to the Polsat decoder.

I would buy a new flash drive because it is a cheap device and this one most likely has damaged firmware or memory, so it will always be a time bomb.
