[Solved] Dust Impact on Image Quality: Toshiba Regza 42XV635D LCD TV Post Renovation Experience

Toshiba Regza 42XV635 D LCD TV I have been using it for 7 years and the image was comparable to the Samsung LED TV recently purchased last year.
Unfortunately, a month ago I carried out the renovation of the apartment (plaster coats) and after reconnecting the TV the image is dark and less sharp. The TV was not protected against dust. Now even on dynamic settings the image is darker than before renovation on standard settings. Before returning to the service, please advise whether the cause is dust inside the TV or simply matrix or backlight fluorescent. Has anyone tried to fix it yourself. Please help.

Dust is not the culprit, but rather that the TV has been disconnected from the network for a long time. Probably some capacitor has dried or spilled after so many years and disconnection from the network only highlighted its failure in the form of image problems.

The topic is still unsolved. Because so far, no one has indicated the probable reason I will share the information I received on the site. The first service indicated the cause of backlight damage and declared to repair it. According to the second, dust from the finish coat got between the layers of the screen and the matrix needs to be replaced, which is completely unprofitable (cost 70% of the value of the new TV). In this situation, I think I'll decide to give TV to the first service and I will inform about the results.

The interior of the TV and especially the fluorescent lamps were cleaned of dust, which significantly improved the brightness of the image. The cost of the service is 100 PLN.
