Hello, accidentally, in vcds, I pressed the abs pump test and it was not finished. Then the p 01486 error popped up, i.e. to make a road test on the road. Unfortunately, the car does not want to go through it. I tried various methods given on the forums, but the abs lamp still does not go out. have any idea for this procedure?

The option is, press the brake, the Abs indicator light starts flashing, go straight about 30 km / h, turn about 90 degrees and press the brake. Alternatively, vas has an option to disable the road test.

And does vcds itself have an option to disable the road test?

Thank you, it helped immediately. I still have a problem with the calibration of the g85 sensor, after encoding it, it does not see the steering angle, it always sees the steering angle before encoding. and this is how it fits with the ankles. Maybe you need to change the steering angle of the steering wheel to a newer one?

It didn't pass the road test, your car is out of order, you won't be able to calibrate the g85, I think you know why.

I suspect that the test does not want to pass because g85 is not calibrated

something there is wrong to see, speed, steering wheel angle etc ...., it's doing calibrations when stationary.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user encountering a P01486 error after an incomplete ABS pump test using VCDS on a WV Caddy. The user is unable to complete the required road test to extinguish the ABS lamp. Various suggestions are provided, including unfastening the clamp, pressing the brake to trigger the ABS indicator, and driving at a specific speed while turning. It is noted that VCDS has an option to disable the road test, with a specific login and channel settings provided for this purpose. The user later mentions issues with calibrating the G85 sensor, suspecting that the calibration failure is preventing the road test from passing. Responses indicate that the car's malfunction may be linked to the G85 sensor calibration and other related parameters.
