Hello. I have a 4 channel recorder. I have three AHD cameras connected to it through BNC plugs with one rotary. I used all the connections that this recorder has. Works well. Installation and commissioning were easy. With time, you want more and I intend to modernize the equipment a bit with an additional PTZ rotary camera. This is where the problem begins due to the connection of the second PTZ camera and I already have the RS 485 plug busy. Here's my question, how to connect and operate two rotating cameras on this recorder. Is the RS-485 SEPARATOR WITH OPTOISOLATION ORS-22 suitable for it? I was already thinking about an additional joystick, ie DVR camera, joystick handle RS485 PTZ speed Dome Camera Keyboard controller for control, but I also don't see that to connect and use it. And what to do here !! ??

You connect the control in parallel, each camera must have a different ID address set, the rest is configured in the recorder itself (ID, protocol, baud rate of the camera).

If it were possible, I would. This camera does not have this feature

The camera can work with AHD, TVI, CVI recorders and with standard analog recorders Without WiFi and LAN or IP. It has the output for power supply, video transmission via BNC and control of rotation of 2x0.5mm AiB cables.

    Well, so what?
Enter the brand and model - each can be configured using DIP Switches, just look at the instructions.

Connecting Two PTZ Cameras to 4-Channel Recorder: RS-485, ORS-22, AHD, BNC, DVR, Joystick

This one does not know why it is theoretically possible

Open it, give pictures of the interior. By the way, after connecting it to the recorder during startup, it should carry out a self-test and show on the screen such data as ID, what protocol is set, baud rate ...

Connecting Two PTZ Cameras to 4-Channel Recorder: RS-485, ORS-22, AHD, BNC, DVR, Joystick

    Added after 4 [minutes]:

I will do it when the warranty ends, for now I am grounded. What you say that the next and other cameras have different IPs and connect the X number to the plug in the recorder and set the data of these X IP cameras in the recorder.

    Added after 6 [minutes]:

If you say so, why do I enter PTZ cameras in the recorder to operate this camera. If it wasn't, it is connected to RS 485 for a reason

    Added after 2 [minutes]:

Well, it can be with Motozoom. How to connect two to walk or One with motozoom and PTZ

    Added after 35 [minutes]:

And how to connect an IP camera to a 4ahd recorder where four cameras are connected via BNC and one to the RS485 port and the recorder is connected to a router with a modem

    Added after 2 [minutes]:

    Scheme welcome :-)

There is no joystick on the cable with which you can enter the camera menu and change its parameters?

ID, not IP - yes, you set the PTZ options for a given video channel to which a specific camera is connected.

You enter the PTZ option - Pan, Tilt, Zoom - but you only use one of the available options - ZOOM.

How else do you imagine the zoom control - a carrier pigeon?

How many times have I written this before?

Connect it via a switch / router - provided that the recorder supports 4 channels + IP and not 3 + IP.

What's the diagram? Not sure what a parallel connection is?
