    Hello.
I have a Ford Focus MK FL 2004. zetec se 1.6 16v gasoline. I want to check the timing setting is ok and I bought a lock (ford-mazda-volvo) with a flat bar and I have three screws (length without a bolt head):
    a) 38.5 mm / thread length 8 mm
    b) 38.2 mm / thread length 18.5 mm
    c) 63.5 mm / thread length 8 mm

Cart codes are written on the cardboard, but there is no written screw. There is certainly a mechanic who deals with Fordes and tells me what is the right screw, on the forum he writes about the length of 47mm, but it is not given specifically to which motor.
The second thing is whether the gears of the rollers (grooves) are to be symmetrically positioned or asymmetrically in relation to each other. I have browsed photos on the internet and there are differences on the wheels (grooves).
    Greetings.

Thank you colleague tomekmazepa for a helpful post with a photo. I checked the timing in a different way. The acquaintance made me a sleeve with a withdrawable bolt, screwed in instead of a candle, I have a 0.01 mm set gauge on the top of the sleeve. Now, having no access to the crankshaft, according to the book for the dieter dormers, I put the ratchet on the alternator and slowly turned to find the tdc cylinder. It was nice for me to cover everything from the sensor, and the flat bar got in the notches on the rollers. I will change that flat bar enters notches only in tdc position, after turning the shafts by 180 degrees the flat bar will not come in because the cuts are lower on the rollers. So I come to the conclusion that I have 100% set-up timing.
As for the second question, maybe someone did not understand me, it was about the notches on the timing gears from the timing belt, whether they are to cover each other or not. In my case, the grooves overlap with each other, while on the photo from the Internet I do not.
