Hello, I have the opportunity to buy a damaged OHV 6.5kva power generator. The engine fires easily but gives no electricity. I already have one but small Kraft & dele 1.3 kva and it's a bit weak. Is this damaged aggregate on a photo what I would like to buy is not typical Chinese? What to look for with him. I am asking for help, I care about time. This is typical Chinese OHV is nothing but a type of high-valve engine and here I don't know what it suggests ...

It is "Chinese" with inflated power. If the aggregate has 6.5 KW, then the engine should have about 13 HP, and in fact how much has HP? Usually the generators in these aggregates are wound with aluminum wire. In addition, the weight of such an aggregate also speaks for quality, because the original aggregates are much heavier, due to the weight of the engine and the copper winding generator. It will be difficult to use it to drive 3-phase motors (low power). You can use a 1-phase generator with your overall dimensions in this aggregate and you will have greater benefit from the aggregate.
In its present condition, load each phase fairly evenly so as not to damage the generator windings.
