    Hello!

Inspired by the following (unfortunately closed) posts, I decided to dig out the topic. Approaching it more philosophically :)

At first glance, Bosch decided to extend the installation manual. In the second entry (PIF651FB1E), where there are pictures of the manual. We can see that it differs from the previous one. After checking on the website, the manufacturer shows an older version (for the PIF651FB1E model it is the same as in the first entry for the PIE631FB1E model). Unless because of my age my eyes deceive me.

Everything is fine as long as we assume that the NR1 connector is a dummy. Certainly, the album works in two phases at most.

I am aware that installation activities should be performed by people with appropriate permissions, but I am also aware that the level of trust in "professionals" with permissions in Poland is very low :)

I assume that the repeated questions on this topic result from unpleasant experiences and the desire to check the "expert" and the desire to explore the functioning of the induction hob. If, in fact, the manufacturer has undertaken to change the instructions for connecting his device, it follows that there are some doubts.

The owner of the hob, resigning from the services of an electrician, takes the risk at his own risk and loses the warranty. I would not exaggerate the issue of loss of life or health, because protection comes from security, both on the side of the installation and the equipment. Connecting the board is another matter and the preparation of the installation is another matter.

    Greetings.

Typically, the power connectors on 2-6 pole boards are the same. That is why we have universal descriptions with 3 phases. In 2-field plates, 1 phase is used. In 3-4 field boards we usually use two phases (with lower powers - electronically limited - we also use 1 phase. 5-6 field boards probably all have 3 phases.
In some countries we have 2L + 2N installations, so there must be such a provision in the international manual.
Therefore, in the warranty card it is written that the connection is to be made by a qualified electrician (with a valid certificate), so that the "handyman" does not give the phase to the terminal where the neutral wire is to be, let alone in place of the protective wire. An electrician may ( should ) refuse to connect the board when he sees that the installation is incorrect / in a bad condition / does not meet the requirements.
