    Hello

I have an Ariva 4k Combo receiver, 80 cm sat antenna with a Monoblock converter. The antenna is set to the Hotbird satellite and from the monoblock to Astre.
I don't have pay TV, only FTA channels. I have no problem with the Hotbird from the key. My question is whether I can receive from this antenna sets from the Astra satellite such transponders: 1KR, 3B, 2E, 4A and probably something else. They are visible in the tuner settings, but the Astra is picked up from only one transprder, probably 1KR. Although I mix in the DiSEqC settings for the rest, the strength / quality meter shows nothing, only one transponder has the right signal. I am very beginner in the subject. Please let me know if it is possible to receive the signal from Astra from the above-mentioned transponders on this antenna and how to set parameters such as: TP, LNB Type, Sat CR / Unicable, Lnb Power, 22KHz, ToneBurst, DiSEqC 1.0 and 1.1.

Thanks for your help and best regards

The reason for the lack of signal may be inactive transponders or damage to one of the installation elements - from the cable, incorrectly inserted plug to the converter failure.

I do not know what your freak markings in this Ariva 4K but you are interested in Astra 19.2 ° E Here you have markings https://www.lyngsat.com/europe.html
As you can see it is 1KR. If you click on 19.2 ° E, you will get the transponder parameters.
You set DiSeqC and ports so that both Astra 19.2 ° and Hotbird 13 ° have a signal. You don't touch the rest.

Welcome back. I messed up a bit, I uploaded the channel list from Enigma, it is indicated as an alternative on the Wiki Ferguson website. Well, there are some TV channels, but it is aimed mainly at paid channels from Polish suppliers. I don't have them, so I don't care. The problem was that this setup completely cut my ability to edit satellites. I didn't make the original copy of the channel list before, so I can remove the current one from E2 by re-uploading the latest firmware, but I would like to avoid it because the later setting up and uploading the application takes time. Is there any way to go back to the previous original satellite and channel list in a few quick steps. Currently, due to the fact that I only have FTA channels, I think that the E2 list is not a good choice for me.

    Greetings

And there are no favorites in this list of E2?

There is also another problem, e.g. on some radio channels the tuner has a complete failure, so this list loses the programmed terrestrial TV channels, that is the Combo model. I do not know if it is the fault of the tuner software or the faulty E2 list that does not match this software. Despite its many flaws, it was not on the original list. Aprops factory settings, I know it, but it's like I would reload the firmware, everything has to be set and loaded from the beginning.

It is a tuner still in its infancy and even those who write software probably have problems with it.
Make it look like it was at the beginning and unfortunately you have to do it all over again.
Do you have a list here, maybe it will be better? This is a list on the HB13 ° + Astra 19.2E and possibly a port change awaits you.

    Ok, thanks, after testing :)
Ps. I just figured out that I have this list currently uploaded.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the user's experience with the Ferguson 4K Ariva Combo receiver and its ability to receive Free-to-Air (FTA) channels from Astra satellites using an 80 cm satellite antenna with a Monoblock converter. The user successfully receives signals from Hotbird but struggles with Astra transponders 1KR, 3B, 2E, and 4A, only managing to receive one transponder (1KR). Responses suggest potential issues with inactive transponders, installation elements, and DiSEqC settings. Users recommend checking transponder parameters and adjusting DiSEqC settings to ensure both Astra and Hotbird signals are received. The user also faces challenges with a channel list uploaded from Enigma, which limits their ability to edit satellites and may cause loss of terrestrial TV channels. Suggestions include restoring factory settings and re-uploading firmware to revert to the original channel list.
