How to open the old channel list saved in the * .bin file :?:
I tried to upload it on the new and old software (1.27B9 and 1.31B2) in the device - unfortunately it is not possible to use it in the newer one because the list is made on the older software and the bins do not match, and in the old one after downloading nothing changes no channels), and open in Ariva_3606_Editor (does not open bin), HCEditV121, HD Channel Edit (crashes Invalid data format error, check the source file), this bin file with a list was once saved in the file ch_list_20160806.bin with the Save function channel list in the decoder, but what to do with it now? Creating a new list is a huge waste of time and someone from the network does not recommend uploading. In addition, making a new list would be difficult because I do not remember in what order I had all the channels there, and I did not have a separate list on the page. For example, I wanted to see somewhere a preview of this bin file and, ultimately, make a new list based on it. This BIN does not open correctly in a notebook or word. I am asking for any advice - they will definitely be useful :|

In the link what I gave something wrote about the UDF format. Normally this was done with an ABS copy and a User db file. there was a list. I don't remember exactly.

If nothing helps, why not search the satellite and terrestrial satellite again and enter to your favorites and create a list of programs.

in fact, you had to make an abs file and make a new channel list from it, not a bin file :-( I had to search and do again

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the challenges of opening an old channel list saved in a *.bin file for the Ferguson Ariva 250 Combo. Users report difficulties in uploading the file to both newer and older software versions (1.27B9 and 1.31B2), as the channel list is incompatible with the newer software. Attempts to use various editors, including Ariva_3606_Editor, HCEditV121, and DBEditor, have resulted in errors or empty channel lists. Suggestions include searching for channels again and creating a new list, as well as the importance of using an ABS file instead of a BIN file for channel list creation.
