    Hello.
No USB mouse works because it is recognized as a "HID compliant device". The problem is known on the net and even the described solution - you need to choose update driver and indicate "HID compliant mouse" instead of this device and everything should fly like this doll. The problem is that I don't have a "HID compatible mouse" on the list of compatible devices and I can't fix a working USB mouse. How to install standard mouse drivers in win7 32-bit? They are missing in win / system32. And how do you fix broken USB mice?

Connect the mouse and sweep the screen from the device manager with the "Pointing devices" tab expanded.

    Manager screen:
"HID compliant mouse" driver - No 32bit driver in win7

Screen from the driver selection list: there should be a HID compliant mouse, but no mouse :(
"HID compliant mouse" driver - No 32bit driver in win7

EDIT: PS. this PS2 mouse is a touchpad and it works properly. And the USB connected mouse doesn't work. The mouse is functional, the USB ports are functional. The mouse stopped working after installing SP1 for win 7 32bit.

Check if you can install from disk.

Here you have the location and the name of the driver.

I have these files in the given directory. But I don't have the .inf file. How do you install these drivers?

In the BIOS, did you set the mouse in parallel with the touchpad? I have already met this option several times. Because you did not provide a laptop model, we are fortune telling.

It's a few years old Asus, but I won't give a model from memory - I'm at work. I searched the bios at the beginning, it is so stripped down that there were no USB or touchpad options. Only in the touchpad software, there is the option to disable the touchpad when connecting a USB mouse, but snorkeling and checking off does nothing.
@ RADU23 : I know how to install drivers when I have them. But I don't have these, because they are default windows drivers. There are sys files, but the .inf file is missing, if something is still missing. That's the problem. Typing in google HID-compliant mouse driver, I can't find these controls for win7 32bit.
The service also disables some services, in order to save RAM, maybe some system service is responsible for the lack of "HID compliant mouse"?

Uncheck "Compatible equipment" and show the screen.
    Also expand USB controllers.
Are other USB devices working? Connect the mouse and show the expanded screen with UVCView, according to this post:

Have you updated the chipset drivers from the manufacturer's website? I bet the chipset is Intel, but I shoot because you haven't provided the model (what you should do in the first post)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user experiencing issues with a USB mouse recognized only as a "HID compliant device" on a Windows 7 32-bit system. The user is unable to find the "HID compliant mouse" driver in the device manager, which is preventing the mouse from functioning. Despite having functional USB ports and a working PS2 touchpad, the USB mouse stopped working after installing Service Pack 1. Suggestions include checking the device manager for the correct driver, installing drivers from disk, and ensuring that chipset drivers are updated. The user also notes the absence of the necessary .inf file for driver installation and questions whether disabled services might be affecting the mouse recognition.
