    Hello.
    Specification first:
    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2H
    Processor: Intel Core i3 530
    Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630

Well, the problem is that after replacing my RAM (1x Kingston, DDR3, 1GB and 1x Kingston, DDR3, 2GB) with a newer one (2x Kingston HyperX FURY DDR3, 2x 4GB, 1600MHz, CL10 (HX316C10FK2 / 8)) my computer won't start. Only a black screen with the words "Windows is starting" appears and still nothing happens.

I tried to boot the computer with one new memory chip and the boot process stops on the POST, specifically the memory check, and then after about half a minute the test is done again and again and again.
I also tried to restart the BIOS by removing the battery but it didn't work.

Lest it were - I performed all operations on the disconnected power supply.
Now I put on the old bones and everything works. So what's the problem? Someone something?

I will also write that the bones are new, unused, ordered from morele.net.

This board may not want to work with 4GB single-sided modules.

You can try to update the BIOS on old memories, you can try to enter BIOS on new memories and set them manually. But it may be that it won't work.

Set lower bios memory clock and higher timings manually so that they do not read from SPD and then check on new modules.

I won't update the BIOS because I have the latest version. Setting a lower clock speed and higher timings didn't help either. In general, in the BIOS I do not have the option to increase the memory clock speed above 1333MHz so ... I begin to doubt if something can be done with it xD
Besides, I noticed that when booting my computer with new memories, these four LEDs Black Screen on Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2H After Replacing Kingston HyperX FURY DDR3 RAM they shine for me. The first three are orange and the fourth is green. Does that mean something?

So the board has not passed all tests successfully and is standing.

@ Denmark9 Modules 4GB for this plate must be double-sided (DS) and that's about it.

Topic summary

✨ The user reports a black screen issue on their Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2H motherboard after upgrading to Kingston HyperX FURY DDR3 RAM (2x 4GB, 1600MHz). The system fails to boot, displaying "Windows is starting" indefinitely. Attempts to boot with a single new memory module result in a POST loop. The user has reset the BIOS and confirmed that the old RAM works. Responses suggest that the motherboard may not support 4GB single-sided modules and recommend updating BIOS or manually adjusting memory settings. Another user confirms that the 4GB modules must be double-sided for compatibility with this motherboard.
