A few days ago I got my new computer, which was made by a friend from the forum. Along with the computer, I immediately ordered a new monitor, because mine was already outdated. I put the new computer aside for a while because I had to transfer files from the old one to the laptop, but in the meantime I connected the new monitor to the old computer and it worked.
Yesterday I connected the new computer the same as the old one and unfortunately nothing is displayed on the monitor. The computer is working, below I will insert a photo of what it looks like. I'm a little worried because I ordered an assembly along with the computer and I was sure that everything would be ready, and here's the hatch.

Is it worth messing with it at all or should I just send it back? Thank you in advance for your help and best regards!

    Does the computer beep?
Did the packaging of the package show signs that it had been thrown and something had come loose?

Everything was nicely wrapped and secured. It gives no signal, maybe a little louder at the beginning.

Decide. Does it give or not?

Well, the usual quiet sound that every newer computer makes.

From what I can see, the monitor supports D-SUB and HDMI.
Maybe a bit of a stupid question, i.e. what cable do you connect the monitor to the graphics card (HDMI)?

Is there a so-called "pik" from computer on startup?

That it worked, it is written, and if it works now, no!

How is it supposed to work when you connect it to an integrated card with a separate card installed?

You have to connect the monitor to the DVI connector near these red caps or through the HDMI cable with the monitor.

    That's "peak".

It works, I just checked on old hardware.

Well, that's all clear. You didn't connect the monitor there :)
Does this new monitor only have a VGA input?

Specify the model of the monitor so that you do not buy blindly.

Topic summary

The user experienced issues with a new computer monitor not displaying when connected to a newly built PC. The monitor worked with an older computer, leading to confusion about the connection setup. Forum members suggested checking the graphics card connections, specifically whether the monitor was connected to the integrated graphics instead of the dedicated graphics card. The user later realized they needed an HDMI cable for the monitor, which is a Samsung model (LS24F350FHUXEN), and confirmed that following the advice helped resolve the issue.
