    Hello,

I would like to connect a bell button to the Beninca Bull 5 operator control unit.
When the gate is closed, pressing the button is to open it,
while when the gate is open, pressing the same button is to close.
The instructions in this topic are not very clear.
What voltage will be on the wires of this bell button? 24v?

Thank you for your answer. I would like to make sure:
Is this way this one connected button between COM and PP
will it be used for both opening and closing?

One more important question arose in relation to the topic:

As a bell button I would like to use the second free button from the uniphone Wekta TK6.
The distance from the uniphone to the Beninca switchboard (and hence the cable length) will be about 25 meters.
Considering the fact that pressing the button (and therefore the appearance of voltage) will last half, maybe one second,
it can be assumed that the cross-section of the wires connected to the bell button of 0.5mm is completely sufficient, despite this distance of 25 meters? I do not know what current flows in the circuit after pressing the button, but probably a small one.

You have mass control, it should work. A long time ago I did similar control with intercom, similar distance and worked on the veins of the cable from the intercom.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting a bell button to the Beninca Bull 5 operator control unit. Users confirm that the bell button should be connected between the COM and PP terminals, with a voltage of 24V AC. It is clarified that this setup allows the button to function for both opening and closing the gate. Additionally, a user inquires about using a button from the Wekta TK6 intercom over a distance of 25 meters, and it is suggested that a wire cross-section of 0.5mm is sufficient for this application, given the short duration of the button press.
