Hello. I have a golf V with an old good engine 1.6 102 HP. Recently it stopped warming up, i.e. it reached about 70 degrees during normal driving and reached 90 when stopping. I found the topic THERMOSTAT obviously open so I bought a new one, I also replaced the liquid and sweating hose from the thermostat to the radiator. I vented the system, i.e. the car was at low speed until 90 degrees, then I switched on the heating so that the heater would also vent and wait for the fan to turn on. Everything was oki. The car warmed up quickly and the temperature was held. But often the fan started to turn on. You have suggestions on what else I can check and possibly what to pick on, because when the heat comes the fan will be flashing all the time.

Hello, there may be a damaged fan resistor located in a large fan. does it not turn on by itself when parked?

Hello computer diagnostics will be known what the temperature of the computer sees probably too high, so it turns on the fan.

It is the norm if it is kept at an appropriate level

during computer diagnostics, it is worth checking in the parameters in addition to the engine temperature, fan control is most often given as a percentage and then you know if it should actually be turned on, and if it indicates 0% control and it is rather a problem with the resistor (it is located in a large fan)
