    Hello . I have a golf 1.6 sr. Cilmatronic
The problem is that the engine does not reach the temperature of 90 °, but is still below, I will add that the thermostat has been replaced with a new one and the sensor is functional, and both fans run from engine cooling and air conditioning, even if the kilma is not turned on. Please help ;)

    Any diagnostics done?
What exactly is the temperature when stationary and while driving?
What company was the thermostat founded.

How many fans do you have? There are two and both are air-conditioning and cooling at the same time. If they turn without air-conditioning, the engine will not reach the temperature.

Below is how much? Have you checked this new thermostat?

When it goes to a standstill and drops while driving, you still have a damaged thermostat.

I support my friend, replace the thermostat, preferably with the original one. Good luck.

The thermostat has been replaced with the original one, so it cannot be a thermostat

Do not be wise because you have failed on a trivial topic, if it is as I write, you still have a thermostat released, because you probably replaced the cartridge itself, not the entire thermostat.

    All thermostat replaced.

Maybe replacing the sensor will help? because the sensor was only cleaned

Instead of replacing a sensor that works, connect it to diagnostics - in the parameters you can see how both sensors work / a difference of +/- 5-8 degrees qualifies for replacement.

Seriously? Give a link to a photo of what you had, and enter the exact engine code you have.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Volkswagen Golf 4 1.6 SR with a Climatronic system that fails to reach the optimal engine temperature of 90°C, despite having a new thermostat and a functional sensor. Participants inquire about diagnostic tests, the specifics of the thermostat replacement, and the operation of the cooling fans. Suggestions include verifying the thermostat's installation, considering the replacement of the temperature sensor, and using diagnostic tools to assess sensor performance. The consensus indicates that the thermostat may still be faulty or improperly installed, and that diagnostics could provide further insights into the issue.
