Hello, I need to build a system for regulating the speed of a series commutator motor from the following parts:
    Z0107 triac
    btb16-600bw triac
    relays
I would like to have adjustments on the potentiometer, but I do not know how to control it, a diagram made on the basis of the washing machine controller:
Building a Speed Regulation System for a Series Commutator Motor Using Z0107 and BTB16-600BW Triacs
Of course, other elements needed for construction will also be found. Best regards.

The topic is more suitable for the electronics department because it is about triac control, and the motor will only be connected as in the diagram.

And someone has the pattern of the AVT 1007 tile, if not, I will have to play in the eagle.

@Spring of holy awareness Can the diac be the Z3M that is on the board and originally controls the triac?

In the product description itself, it is clearly stated that the AVT1613 system is for induction motors (such as bathroom and office fans), while the AVT 1007 is for commutator motors (drills, vacuum cleaners, mixers). The system is not expensive, but the layout of the colleague Stream of Consciousness is interesting.

And what is the difference between the AVT1613 and the AVT1007 that one is for "bathroom and office fans" and the other is for commutator motors?

@ HD-VIDEO One is for commutator motors and the other is for induction motors, the control is different. I will let you know when I have time to make a layout.

@SnowFlake Thanks, friend, for the link to the topic and the link to the store is not needed because I already have it and I will be doing the plate at home.
Dear those cubes, can't it be done without her?

@ radex324 What is this ? A nightmarish dream of a drugged electronics? Apart from these scribbles, it's a triac gate without optoisolation straight to ATmega ... Thousands of solutions on the Forum! Don't lower the Forum level, okay? :|

@K-rzysztof Kamienski I have included a diagram as it is in the original driver :) only the 0R resistor was omitted. Yesterday I got the old vacuum cleaner so I already have the driver, only the potentiometer needs to be replaced. @ HD-VIDEO Usually there are additional coils in the controller which are not needed in a "simple" controller.

There is no point in arguing which system will be good, AVT1613 is more expensive and has more components. As I wrote earlier, I will let you know how I did it.

Topic summary

A user seeks assistance in building a speed regulation system for a series commutator motor using Z0107 and BTB16-600BW triacs, along with relays and a potentiometer for adjustments. The discussion includes references to various circuit layouts, specifically the AVT1007 and AVT1613 systems, which are designed for commutator and induction motors, respectively. Participants share links to relevant diagrams and PCB designs, while also discussing the differences between the two systems. The user expresses a preference for creating a custom layout and inquires about the necessity of certain components in the design.
