    I warmly welcome,
I would like to advise people who have more experience than I do in VCDS. I had a Check Engine lamp yesterday. I borrowed a cable from a friend and this is how the error appeared on the log.

    000289 - Throttle Position Sensor (G69)
    P0121 - 000 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent - MIL ON
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 10100000
    Fault Priority: 2
    Fault Frequency: 1
    Reset counter: 255
    Mileage: 171073 km
    Time Indication: 0
    Date: 2011.10.12
    Time: 19:38:03

In connection with the fact that I do not know somehow fully about VCDS, maybe someone will tell me if this is a one-time error (freq = 1) or is it a complete lack of signaling with the throttle? I will only add that the car keeps revs and drives as it should. If it clears the error, does everything return to normal?

If there was no communication with the throttle, he would work in an emergency or do not take gas. Delete, maybe he will not come back.

    Hello,
I encountered the same problem for various cars, generally the problem intensified on cold and humid days, especially in autumn or spring, in summer there was no problem.
The path of the potentiometer is already wiping and you have problems with contact and minor leaks can allow the penetration of moisture and distortion.
Not always the car entered the service mode, it depends on the computer, interestingly in most cases there was no difference in the work of the engine.
Unfortunately, in 99% of cases, the potentiometer cannot be replaced as it is a built-in and hermetic element, only the whole damper.
    Best regards.

Yes, the error occurred like six years ago but I think it is because of the battery. The course of the car agrees with what is today. around 171,000 km. I'll give the engine code later when my spouse comes home. Today I will remove the error and check if the fault disappears.

I also have problems with webasto, I do not want to turn on the system.

01207 - Control Module for Auxiliary Heater (J364)
    004 - No Signal / Communication - Intermittent
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 00100100
    Fault Priority: 6
    Fault Frequency: 5
    Reset counter: 120
    Mileage: 169729 km
    Time Indication: 0

    edit:
After deleting the check engine disappeared, by the way I cleaned the connector in the throttle.
