    Hello
As in the subject of the "T1" sensor (Type NTC10kom) the temperature (HEWALEX solar collector on the roof) is connected to the "GECO G425-P01" Controller just like the T2 / T3 sensor with the diode pulsating at the T1 sensor and the alarm being turned on. By selecting the "Info" button on the controller by going to the T1 sensor, the "Er" symbol is displayed - which suggests "Failure of the indicated temperature sensor" - according to the table of information about control states contained in the assembly instructions for the pump and control unit ZPS 18a01 - HEWALEX.

I would like to advise colleagues where and how to look for a fault :

    AND.
Can you use a "Multimeter" to check the sensor (is it working) NTC10kom and how.

    B.
If the sensor is damaged, which one to buy

    Greetings.

You set the multimeter to measure resistance, (range 20k) and find the characteristics of some 10k ntc sensor. It should be similar.

    Thanks for the info.

I have an AquaEro 4.00 controller for walking with liquids in my PC and I read on the net that there is an identical (NTC10kom) temperature sensor as described above (for two pins). I will test and check it.

If the driver shows an error, it is unlikely that playing with a multimeter will show anything. Start with a trip to the roof to check if the marten has eaten the sensor. The connecting cable may also be damaged.

Today I checked the cable is in the ARMAFLEX cover as it was installed 4 years earlier, and the cover does not indicate "bitten" or damaged. :D

The basis of electrics are good contacts. :P
Look for connections first, check the terminal in the controller.

The fault is of this type during the day (sunny cloudless) as it warms up from this 11-12 o'clock the "Er" is shown on the display for T1 and in the evening as the sun goes down and the temperatures drop (in the evening) the sensor displays correctly Temperature T1 (may be damaged high temperature cables?)

I checked everything. The connections are not soldered, only twisted and placed (you may also need to solder the terminals to improve contacts).

Working principle: for Sensor Type NTC10kom

As the temperature changes, the measuring element ( thermistor ) changes its resistance.

The sensor loses resistance when the temperature changes, it needs to be replaced. NTC often behave like this during a fault.

Now this question is whether it is possible to cut a fragment of 1.5m-3m cable with a damaged 10KOm sensor and solder in place (waterproof plug with a 2-pin socket, properly protected against moisture, etc.) functional same NTC 10Kom sensor with cable. ?

I already tell you what the problem is, because my friend had contact with a similar one.
It turned out that the problem is the wire going along with the pipes. It should be made of copper, but it is made of some aluminum or other dirty material. Check this cable as it is soldered.

One simple test comes to mind.
If the other original sensors are identical with the same characteristics and can be easily disassembled and swapped, then do it. Then you will know if it is the fault of this particular sensor or something else is broken.

    Hello

Replacing the T1 sensor with a new one helped and the collectors are working. The sensor cable as well as the sensor itself was damaged hanging unpinned in the collector housing itself. By the way, the sensor housing has also been replaced with a sensor housing with a vent Cat. No. 44.01.01, and a blind plug Cat. No. 43.01.00 has been screwed into the old opening of the housing and TERMSOL EKO solar fluid has been supplemented ( info. "HEWALEX" Solar Technology Department. Fill the system with glycol at covered collectors or on cloudy days. Fill up to 2.5 bar at a glycol at ambient temperature to indicate on the pressure gauge. )

Old collector vent and replaced sensor housing with vent (with gasket) Code No. 44.01.01

New Sensor Cat. No. 74.10.05 and 74.30.00 type NTC 10kom have the same characteristics - info. wrote back the Solar Technology Department "HEWALEX"

Solar collectors are doing great sensation have been well vented (adopted individual way) and pressure on the pressure gauge up to 2.5bar, and at work and high temperature up to ~ 3bar).

    Subject to close.

    Greetings.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a malfunctioning NTC temperature sensor (T1) connected to a HEWALEX solar collector and a GECO G425-P01 controller, which displays an error ("Er") indicating a sensor failure. Users suggest using a multimeter to measure the resistance of the NTC10kom sensor, with a recommended setting of 20k ohms. Several users emphasize checking the wiring and connections, as well as the possibility of damage to the sensor or its cable. One user successfully resolved the issue by replacing the faulty sensor and addressing cable damage. The importance of ensuring good electrical contacts and using appropriate materials for wiring is highlighted.
