Yes, I have a groove on the shaft but I mean - in what position to put this ring on the wheel I unnecessarily pulled it off but now it does not matter the locking hole should be set at 9 o'clock relative to the wedge on the shaft?

Now you can easily order a new wheel. You won't be able to put it on with sufficient accuracy as long as you have survived disassembly.

Locked to DV6 timing will not be in GMP.

I had no need or opportunity to check this on DV6, but all other PSA diesels are blocked in GMP for belt replacement.
